Su-24M bomber crashes in Khmelnytskyi region, both pilots killed
On the evening of June 16, a Su-24M frontline bomber crashed in Khmelnytskyi region. Both crew members died, no civilians harmed.

On the evening of June 16, at approximately 7:00 PM, a Su-24M frontline bomber crashed in the Khmelnytskyi region. The aircraft belonged to the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Petro Franko and was performing a mission at the time of the accident.
Both crew members – the pilot and the navigator – were killed. The Air Force identified the victims as Major Bohdan Zaharulko and Senior Lieutenant Bohdan Babenko.
Rescuers and law enforcement officers are working at the crash site. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the civilian population. The causes and circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
