Home Depot's Labor Day Sale Brings BOGO Deals on Tools and Grills

Home Depot has launched its annual Labor Day sale, marking the traditional close of the summer DIY season with notable discounts on tools, batteries and grilling equipment, according to a review published by Wired.

The steepest price cuts this year are on grills and smokers. Traeger's pellet grill lineup sees a roughly hundred-dollar discount on its basic model, while the long-running entry-level Pro 22 smoker is priced at $390, reportedly its lowest price of the year. Weber grills, including the classic Kettle and the Spirit E-210, are discounted by about $50, with the green-colored Kettle model available at half price.

Among power tool brands, Milwaukee and Ryobi stand out. Milwaukee's impact driver, normally priced at $179, is being offered free with the purchase of a portable M18 battery pack during the sale. Buy-one-get-one offers also extend to other Milwaukee tools, including an oscillating multi-tool.

Ryobi, known for yard and landscaping equipment, is running similar battery-based promotions, including a deal on its heavy-duty leaf blower. The brand's entry-level combo kits, which include a drill/driver, impact driver and circular saw, are cited as good value for those building a first tool set.

DeWalt's lineup has fewer standout deals this season, though buy-one-get-one offers remain on circular saws, angle grinders and hammer drill kits for masonry work. The review notes that some smart home and home security deals from Home Depot are not considered strong value or involve older models.
