Hull City add forward Cho as club's 12th signing of the summer
Hull City have signed French forward Mohamed-Ali Cho from Ligue 1 club Nice on a five-year deal, marking the club's 12th signing of the summer transfer window.
Premier League side Hull City have completed the signing of 22-year-old French forward Mohamed-Ali Cho from Ligue 1 club Nice. The player has put pen to paper on a five-year contract, becoming the Tigers' 12th new addition of the summer as the club continues reinforcing its squad following promotion to the top flight.
Time at Nice and earlier career
During a two-and-a-half-year stint with Nice, Cho featured in 93 matches, scoring 12 goals and setting up 13 more. He has European experience too, having made 13 Europa League appearances for Nice, in addition to previous Champions League football with Spanish club Real Sociedad.
Born in France but raised in England, Cho initially represented England at Under-16 level before switching to play for France, for whom he has since appeared at Under-21 level. He turned professional with Angers at just 16, becoming the club's youngest-ever goalscorer.
Big summer spending for Hull
Since defeating Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final to secure promotion, Hull City have spent more than £75m strengthening the squad, including a club-record fee paid for Senegalese defender Nobel Mendy.
The club has returned to the Premier League after a nine-year absence and marked the occasion with a historic opening-day win over Manchester United.
