One person killed in road accident in Ida-Viru County, Estonia

One person died and another was injured in a road accident in Estonia's Ida-Viru County on Tuesday. The circumstances of the crash are still being clarified.

A traffic accident in Estonia's Ida-Viru County claimed the life of one person and left another injured on Tuesday.

The emergency response centre received a report of the crash at around 1:00 p.m. on August 18. The accident occurred at the 44th kilometre of the Jõhvi–Tartu–Valga highway, in the village of Kauksi, Alutaguse municipality.

As a result of the collision, one person died and another was injured. The exact circumstances of the accident are still being established as authorities continue their investigation.
