Three Injured in Ida-Virumaa Traffic Accident

A crash in Ida-Virumaa on Friday sent three people to the hospital, police reported.

A traffic accident in the village of Aa, Lüganuse Parish, Ida-Virumaa, left three people injured on Friday, June 26. The crash occurred at 12:32 when a 69-year-old man driving a Honda CR-V failed to yield the right of way to a Honda Civic traveling on the main road, according to a police press release. The driver of the Civic, a 61-year-old man, and a 65-year-old woman passenger in the Civic were also injured. All three individuals were taken to a hospital. In total, seven people were injured in traffic accidents across Estonia on that day. Additionally, police stopped 12 drivers under the influence of alcohol.
