Ida-Viru County commemorates WWII fallen
On Saturday, July 25, about 300 people gathered in Sinimäe to lay flowers and light candles at the Estonian Legion memorial, remembering the battles of 1944.

On Saturday, July 25, a commemoration event took place in Sinimäe, Ida-Viru County, to honor those who died in World War II. Participants laid flowers and lit candles at the memorial of the Estonian Legion. Approximately 300 people attended the ceremony, according to "Aktuaalne kaamera".
The battles fought in Sinimäe in 1944 between the Red Army and German forces are considered among the bloodiest ever fought on Estonian soil.
