Estonia to pay September pensions and benefits on September 7
Estonia's Social Insurance Board will pay September pensions and benefits for people with special needs on September 7, since the usual payment date of the 5th falls on a Saturday this year. Recipients will therefore receive their payments two days later than usual.

Estonia's Social Insurance Board has announced that September pensions and benefits for people with special needs will be transferred to recipients on Monday, September 7.
Payments are normally made on the fifth day of each month, but this September that date falls on a Saturday. Under standard practice, if the scheduled payment date coincides with a non-working day, the board makes the payment on the following business day.
As a result, September payments will reach recipients two days later than usual.
Advice to plan ahead
The board has advised recipients to take the changed payment date into account and, where possible, to plan their expenses for the start of the month in advance to avoid any inconvenience caused by the delay.
