Estonian Expert: Removing Trump From the US Presidency Is Unlikely
Andreas Kaju, an Estonian expert on the United States, says Democrats will focus on voters' everyday concerns rather than impeaching President Donald Trump. He considers Trump's removal from office within the next two years highly improbable.

Andreas Kaju, an Estonian expert on the United States, believes the US Democratic Party will concentrate on voters' day-to-day concerns rather than on efforts to remove President Donald Trump from office. He spoke on "Aktuaalne kaamera", the news programme of Estonian public broadcaster channel ETV+, aired on Thursday, 5 November.
Kaju explained that the results of the US elections show that voters expect the authorities to tackle real problems. He named the rising cost of living and migration as examples.
At the same time, the expert does not expect Trump to be removed from the presidency over the next two years. He said that Trump would not be removed for his past actions, primarily political ones, and that such a step would be self-destructive for the Democrats.
In Kaju's view, the Democrats should now focus on issues that directly affect voters: the cost of everyday life, household budgets and compliance with migration rules.
He did allow that the situation could change if new circumstances emerge. Even so, he still regards Trump's removal from office as extremely unlikely.
