The 20th round of the Estonian Premium League brought several unexpected results. One of the biggest surprises was Paide's heavy away defeat to Harju from Laagri with a score of 2:5.
The match was effectively decided in the first half, as the hosts scored five goals before the break, leading 5:1. In the second half, Paide managed to reduce the deficit but could not change the course of the game, according to Radio 4 sports news.
Another surprising result was recorded in the match involving Nõmme Kalju, who played a goalless draw away against Kuressaare (0:0).
The main sensation of the round was Tallinn's Flora losing at home to Nõmme United 1:2. As early as the 11th minute, the hosts were reduced to ten men after goalkeeper Kaur Kivila was sent off. The visitors capitalized on their numerical advantage and scored twice before halftime. In the second half, Nõmme United managed to hold on to the win, which was the club's first ever victory over Flora.
Narva Trans finally ended a six-match winless streak, defeating Pärnu's Vaprus 3:1 at home.
The match between league leaders Levadia and Tartu's Tammeka was postponed due to the capital club's participation in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.
After 20 rounds, Levadia remains at the top of the table with 46 points and a game in hand. Flora is second with 36 points, Nõmme Kalju third with 35, and Paide fourth with 32 points. Narva Trans sits at the bottom with 13 points.
