Estonian Football Championship: Nõmme Kalju beats Nõmme United
Nõmme Kalju defeated Nõmme United 3-1 in the 18th round of the Estonian football championship, securing their tenth win of the season.

On Friday, July 3, two clubs from the Nõmme district met at Tallinn's Männiku Stadium in the 18th round of the Estonian football championship. The more experienced side, Nõmme Kalju, claimed a convincing 3-1 victory over Nõmme United.
Tiago Baptista opened the scoring in the 20th minute, putting Kalju ahead. However, just a minute later, United's Zambian legionnaire Ricky Chanda equalized. Kalju quickly regained control, and goals from Alexander Musolitin and Mikhail Orlov gave them a 3-1 lead by halftime.
No further goals were scored in the second half, and Kalju recorded their tenth win in the current national championship. With 34 points, Kalju sits in third place in the standings. Levadia leads with 43 points, Flora is second with 36, and Paide is fourth with 29. Nõmme United remains seventh with 19 points.
The round began on Thursday with Flora crushing Kuressaare 3-0. Saturday features two matches: Paide vs. Vaprus and Narva Trans vs. Levadia. The round concludes on Sunday with Tammeka facing Harju.
