Estonian football league: Paide beats Nõmme United at home

On Sunday, August 23, in a round-24 match of the Estonian football championship, host club Paide secured a convincing 4:1 win over Nõmme United.
Paide took the lead in the 27th minute through Kristopher Käit, but Nõmme United's Dutch midfielder Koen Oostenbrink equalized just three minutes later.
Early in the second half, Abdurahman Badamosi restored Paide's advantage, making it 2:1. Late in the match, substitute Henri Anier scored twice within three minutes, sealing the outcome.
Nõmme United's substitute Ivan Krasnov picked up two yellow cards during the game and was sent off in the 89th minute.
With this result, Paide now sits fourth in the standings with 39 points, while Nõmme United holds eighth place with 25 points.
