Estonia's amateur golf team achieved their best ever result by finishing second at the European Amateur Team Championship, earning silver medals on home soil.

The Estonian amateur golf team has achieved the best result in its history, winning silver medals at the European Amateur Team Championship held at the Jõelähtme golf course. During the tournament, the Estonians first defeated the second-seeded Netherlands team and then overcame France in the semifinals, according to "Aktuaalne Kaamera". In the final, the hosts lost a close match to Ireland in an extra round, 3-4. This is Ireland's seventh European title. The Estonian team consisted of Richard Teder, Mattias Varjun, Markus Varjun, Karl Hellat, Kevin-Kristofer Jegers, and Ralf-Johan Kivi. Two years ago, Estonia finished fourth in the same championship.
