Estonian clubs suffer heavy defeat in Ireland, Ajax dominate, Ukrainian clubs hold their own

Shelbourne thrashed Nõmme Kalju 5-2 in Ireland, while Ajax delivered a dominant performance. Ukrainian clubs secured draws against Danish and Belgian giants.

Last week saw several European qualifying matches, with Estonian clubs experiencing both success and failure. The biggest loss was Nõmme Kalju's 5-2 defeat to Shelbourne in Ireland. Flora Tallinn beat Wales' The New Saints 1-0, and Paide Linnameeskond similarly defeated Azerbaijan's Zirə 1-0. Levadia Tallinn lost 1-2 to Sweden's Göteborg. Ajax Amsterdam crushed Serbia's Vojvodina Novi Sad 4-1. Ukrainian clubs showed resilience: Polissya Zhytomyr drew 3-3 with Denmark's København, and LNZ Cherkasy held Belgium's Gent to a 0-0 draw.
