Flora Tallinn beat Wales' The New Saints 1-0, and Paide Linnameeskond similarly defeated Azerbaijan's Zirə 1-0. Levadia Tallinn lost 1-2 to Sweden's Göteborg. Ajax Amsterdam crushed Serbia's Vojvodina Novi Sad 4-1. Ukrainian clubs showed resilience: Polissya Zhytomyr drew 3-3 with Denmark's København, and LNZ Cherkasy held Belgium's Gent to a 0-0 draw.
