On August 20, the Day of Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Estonia, a free festival concert titled "Mineviku hääl. Tuleviku kõla" ("Voice of the Past. Sound of the Future") will take place in the Governor's Garden in Tallinn. The open-air event begins at 15:00 and will bring together Estonian traditional music with contemporary electronic sound.

Performers and concept

The lineup includes the groups SADU, NOËP, Puuluup, EiK and Duo Ruut, as well as Sander Mölder, a bagpipe quartet and a percussion quartet. The performers aim to present a world where boundaries between musical styles dissolve, combining runic chants, folk instruments, drum machines and electronic textures into an entirely new sound. The concert's producer is Danel Pandre.

Live broadcast

The event will be broadcast live on ERR channels. The ETV+ television channel and the Rus.ERR portal will carry the broadcast with Russian-language commentary, provided by Boris Timofeyev, with Astrid Kannel hosting.
