Estonian Parties Already Campaigning for March 2027 Elections
Several Estonian political parties have started campaigning for the March 2027 parliamentary elections, with banners and newspaper ads already visible. The non-parliamentary party Parempoolsed is particularly active.

Estonian political parties have already launched their campaigns for the next Riigikogu elections, scheduled for March 2027. Banners and newspaper advertisements are appearing, even though the election is still nearly two years away.
The non-parliamentary party Parempoolsed has placed advertisements in Tallinn and will expand to other cities next week. Indrek Luberg, a member of the party's executive board, said the party aims to gain visibility early and noted that advertising prices are currently affordable. The campaign will be expanded starting in August. Parempoolsed is known for unconventional ads; during the local elections, they used upside-down vans to symbolize the state of the Estonian economy.
The Reform Party is using newspaper ads and social media to introduce its candidates and policies. Secretary General Kristo Enn Vaga said the campaign will peak in January, with smaller mini-campaigns before that. The larger campaign begins in autumn, with posters and TV ads starting in January. The party plans to continue humorous social media ads, such as one featuring an "unknown minister" played by Minister of Infrastructure Kuldar Leis.
Isamaa, the Social Democrats (SDE), and the Centre Party said they will start their campaigns in autumn. SDE Deputy Chairman Tanel Kiik noted that autumn and winter are the most active periods for outdoor advertising and social media, while summer is better for meeting voters and gathering ideas. Isamaa is meeting voters at summer events with campaign tents. Deputy Chair Riina Solman said it is too early for posters, and both the party and individual candidates will contribute to campaign costs. The party provides basic items like candy and bags, and now coffee cups, while candidates also contribute personally.
Centre Party executive board member Vadim Belobrotsev emphasized the party's strength in direct communication with voters at tents and other formats. He said voters value the opportunity to discuss their concerns and make proposals. Election day for the 2027 Riigikogu elections is March 7, 2027. The early start indicates that Estonian political parties are taking a long-term approach to the upcoming elections, focusing on visibility and voter engagement.
