In the Estonian parliament, Reform Party MPs Mart Vyrklaev and Aivar Sõerd, who opposed the supplementary state budget, have proposed measures to cut expenditures by more than €100 million.

Their proposals include postponing the construction of the Siuru cultural center in central Tartu, reducing funding for the wealthiest cities and parishes, and increasing the fee for doctor visits. The MPs believe these steps would help balance the state budget without raising taxes.
