Estonian men's épée team finishes 12th at European Championships
Estonia's men's épée team placed 12th at the European Fencing Championships in Antony, France, after wins over Great Britain and Germany but losses to France, Czech Republic, and Denmark.

The Estonian men's épée team finished 12th at the European Fencing Championships held in Antony, France.
The team — consisting of Kasper Tafenau, Sten Priinits, Oliver Laasik, and Markus Salm — started the tournament with a victory over Great Britain (45:39). In the Round of 16, however, they lost to France (31:45).
In the placement matches, Estonia first defeated Germany (36:30), but then fell to the Czech Republic (38:45) and Denmark (40:45), ultimately claiming 12th place.
Italy won the European title by beating France 45:30 in the final. Ukraine secured the bronze medal after defeating Switzerland 44:31 in the third-place match.
