Estonia's NOËP to perform in BBC-led European dance music marathon on Friday
Estonian producer NOËP and Raadio 2 will join 11 other European radio stations on Friday for a six-hour dance music marathon led by BBC Radio 1.
On Friday, September 25, Estonian DJ and producer NOËP will team up with Raadio 2 to take part in Europe's Biggest Dance Show, a six-hour dance music marathon broadcast live across several European countries.
This marks the eighth edition of the event, which brings together 12 European radio stations under the direction of BBC Radio 1. Each participating station contributes a 30-minute music segment. Estonia will be represented this year by NOËP, marking Raadio 2's fourth appearance in the marathon.
BBC Radio 1 will open the marathon at 8 p.m. Estonian time. NOËP's segment on Raadio 2 begins at midnight, and Kyiv's Radio Promin will close out the broadcast at 1:30 a.m.
Raadio 2 will carry the full six-hour program from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., preceded by a warm-up broadcast hosted by Marta Püssa starting at 7 p.m. The marathon will also be relayed by other member stations of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
Estonia has previously been represented in the event by artists including Madison Mars, Syn Cole and Tommy Cash.
Schedule
The broadcast opens at 7 p.m. with a warm-up on Raadio 2, followed by stations from London, Stockholm, Oslo, Cologne, Berlin, Dublin, Brussels, Helsinki, Tallinn, Vienna and Amsterdam, closing with Kyiv.
