Estonian Couple Builds House and Glass Pavilion by Themselves
Marti and Karina Laube from Estonia built a family house and a glass pavilion with their own hands, creating a peaceful retreat in nature.

An Estonian couple, Marti and Karina Laube, have proven that with dedication and skill, one can achieve great things. Marti, described as a man with golden hands, single-handedly built both a spacious family house and a modern glass pavilion that serves as a getaway from daily routine.
Marti speaks humbly about his work, crediting his wife with the ideas and himself with execution. He does not consider himself a construction expert but simply started doing things on his own. At age 26, he began building a summer house on an empty field, adding new elements each summer. Over the years, he has made gates, benches, a colorful mailbox, and a well cover, with the glass pavilion being the latest addition.
The couple's future plans include a terrace and a sauna. Meanwhile, they have planted trees and grown a tall hedge around the house. Karina describes their countryside home as a bird's nest in the lap of nature, a place to escape the city noise. This story is an inspiring example of how one can create a paradise on earth with their own hands and love for nature.
