Estonian tennis players Glinka and Lajal eliminated at Saint-Tropez tournament
Estonia's top two ranked players, Mark Lajal and Daniil Glinka, both lost in the quarterfinals of the ATP Challenger 125 tournament in Saint-Tropez, France.
An ATP Challenger 125 series tennis tournament is being held in the French resort town of Saint-Tropez, where both Estonian players have now been eliminated.
Daniil Glinka, ranked 173rd in the ATP standings, lost his quarterfinal match on Friday to Croatia's Dino Prizmic, the tournament's fourth seed and world number 101. Prizmic won the match 6:7 (4), 5:7.
Mark Lajal, ranked 143rd in the world, was defeated in his quarterfinal by the tournament's top seed, France's Titouan Droguet, who holds ATP ranking 84. That match finished 4:6, 6:7 (1) in Droguet's favor.
With these losses, both Estonian representatives' campaigns at the tournament have come to an end. The semifinal will now see Prizmic face Droguet.
