Elon Musk loses trillionaire status as SpaceX shares plunge
According to Bloomberg, Elon Musk's net worth has fallen below $1 trillion to $957 billion after a sharp decline in SpaceX's stock price.

Elon Musk is no longer a trillionaire, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. His wealth dropped to $957 billion as SpaceX shares tumbled.
On Tuesday, SpaceX stock closed at $156, down from a previous high of $225. The decline continued in pre-market trading Wednesday.
SpaceX shares began trading on June 12 at $150 per share, closing the first day at $160, which gave the company a market capitalization of over $2 trillion and made Musk the first person ever to reach a trillion-dollar fortune.
Now that surge has reversed. Bloomberg's list now ranks Google co-founders Larry Page ($297 billion) and Sergey Brin ($276 billion) as the second and third richest people globally.
