Inārs Kivlenieks to coach Canada's luge team next season

Latvian luge specialist Inārs Kivlenieks will join the Canadian national team for the upcoming season. Canada first approached him several years ago, but the decision-making process took a longer time and was not rushed.

The coach had worked for many years with the Latvian luge team but has now decided to move abroad to gain fresh experience at an international level. The Canadian luge team is among the world's leading teams, and Kivlenieks' expertise could help the squad achieve high results.

The decision to work in Canada was not made hastily, but rather after carefully weighing the options. It is not yet clear how long the cooperation contract with the Canadian federation will last.
