First FEI World Cup Leg in Inčukalns with Record Number of Horses
In May 2026, Inčukalns will host the CSI2-W show jumping competition, featuring a FEI World Cup leg for the first time in Latvia. A record 170 horses and over 120 riders have been entered.

The international show jumping event "CSI2-W Inčukalns 2026" will gather top riders from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, and Finland. It is set to be one of the most significant equestrian events in the Baltic region in 2026.
A record number of 170 horses have been entered, ridden by more than 120 athletes. Registration is still ongoing.
Over three days, spectators can enjoy 18 courses with obstacles ranging from 110 to 155 cm in height. The highlight will be the FEI World Cup Grand Prix on Sunday, featuring 155 cm obstacles and a prize fund of €28,200.
Latvia will be represented by several top riders, including two-time Olympian Kristaps Neretnieks, Latvian champion Aleksandrs Šakurovs, three-time champion Andis Vārna, two-time champion Aigars Bregže, and six-time champion Ģirts Bricis. Chief judge Dainis Līvmanis expressed delight at the high number of participants and emphasized the importance of this event for Latvian equestrian sports.
