Inčupe train station still lacks promised platforms, wait continues

The Inčupe railway stop on the Skulte line near Saulkrasti has yet to receive the wooden platforms that were promised to improve passenger boarding. It is one of 16 stations where Latvijas dzelzceļš had pledged to install such platforms by the end of 2025.

However, no construction has started at Inčupe. Locals continue to use the existing facilities, which are less convenient, especially in poor weather. Despite long-standing discussions, the project has seen no progress, and residents face further delays.
