BBC Verify has analysed videos from across the capital, which show security officers firing so-called pellet guns towards protesters. The footage appears to show some protesters sustaining injuries from the pellet guns.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) did not respond to BBC's questions about the use of pellet guns and the injuries protesters appeared to sustain. The CRPF told Indian media that it was premature to comment and that it was looking into the events.
