New Fitbit Edge leaks in fresh photos
Android Headlines has published images revealing Google's upcoming Fitbit Edge fitness tracker, positioned as a successor to the aging Charge line and sitting between the minimalist Fitbit Air and the full-featured Pixel Watch.

New photos published by Android Headlines offer the clearest look yet at an unannounced Google wearable called the Fitbit Edge. The device had surfaced in leaks before, but these latest images give a better sense of its design and positioning within Google's fitness lineup.
Based on the images, the Fitbit Edge appears to sit squarely between two existing products: the stripped-down Fitbit Air and the fully featured Pixel Watch. It features a small display capable of showing a handful of widgets, though it clearly doesn't match the scope of a true smartwatch screen.
Expected capabilities
Reports suggest the Edge is being built as a fitness-first wearable, with an estimated seven-day battery life along with built-in GPS and an altimeter — specs that would make it considerably more capable than the entry-level Air. It is also expected to support a limited set of apps, including Google Maps and YouTube Music.
The device is widely seen as the successor to Fitbit's Charge line, which hasn't received an update since 2023, making a new midrange tracker overdue. The current Charge 6 model is priced at $159.95.
No official word has emerged yet on pricing or a release date for the Fitbit Edge. However, given that the Fitbit Air retails for $99.99 and the Pixel Watch starts at $399.99, a price somewhere between $150 and $200 is considered a reasonable estimate, placing the Edge squarely between the two existing devices.
