The streets of Tehran were lined with enormous crowds as Iran continued its public mourning for the late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei was killed at the start of the US-Israel war in February this year. The funeral procession passed through the capital's landmark Enghelab Square, where mourners held up Iranian flags and red banners symbolising martyrdom and vengeance. BBC chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet is reporting from Tehran on condition that none of her material is used on the BBC's Persian Service. These restrictions apply to all international media organisations operating in Iran.
