Iran's Foreign Minister: Agreement to End War with US Could Be Signed Remotely in Coming Days
Iran's foreign minister said a draft agreement to end the war with the United States could be signed remotely within days, as negotiations reach their final stages. The framework would address the US naval blockade and the administration of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Friday that a draft agreement to end the war with the United States could be signed remotely in the coming days. He emphasized that negotiations have entered their final stages. Araghchi indicated that the framework would cover the lifting of the US naval blockade and the future governance of the Strait of Hormuz.
On Thursday, Iranian media reported potential terms for a ceasefire deal with the US, including a 60-day negotiation period for a nuclear agreement, the release of frozen Iranian assets, and a permanent cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
US President Donald Trump responded to the Iranian reports by posting a message accusing the Iranians of being "very dishonourable."
Meanwhile, an Iran-linked hacker group calling itself "Handala" claimed to have breached FBI drones and threatened to target the 2026 World Cup.
