Enjoy Rural Charm in Irši: Peony Gardens and Deer Safari
The association “Irši iedvesmo” organized the event “Enjoy Rural Charm in Irši!”, allowing visitors to explore local tourist attractions, including a peony garden, deer safari, and artisan offerings.
During the Summer Solstice, the association “Irši iedvesmo” hosted the event “Enjoy Rural Charm in Irši!” to promote the sights and tourism spots of Irši Parish.
Visitors could admire the collection garden “Madaras”, featuring peonies from classic varieties to the latest world masterpieces. The garden also offered professional consultations on flower cultivation and plant sales.
A highlight was the Hiršenhofas Garden, located in the middle of a deer park. Guests enjoyed a diversity of flowers and plants, walked along millstone paths, took in romantic landscapes, and went on a deer safari.
Historical buildings such as the Irši Manor barn (magazine), the manor manager’s house “Kļavas”, and the farmstead “Nomaļi” welcomed visitors with stories of homes and memories.
The self-service shop “Dāvanu skapis” delighted with gift options available even at night, plus an additional activity – archery target shooting. New offerings are expected soon.
The bakery “Zemītes” treated guests to freshly baked goods – buns, pies, pizzas, cookies, nuts, rolls, and takeaway coffee.
At the “Just bio” Sea Buckthorn House, the family business shared their story of sea buckthorn cultivation, offered garden tours, and tastings of vitamin-rich juices.
The event “Roziņās” titled “Time Flows” featured singing, dancing, a fire ritual, and enjoyment of nature’s grandeur.
The organizers thanked everyone who opened their homes and all visitors, hoping for continued participation.
