Young people in Italy have returned to the streets to protest against the political establishment and rising living costs, The New York Times reported on 24 October.
The demonstrators hoped to make their message heard. Violence overshadowed the protests last weekend, so this new round was seen as a chance to bring attention back to the protesters' own concerns.
According to the report, the young protesters are fed up with the political establishment and with the increasing cost of living. The available excerpt gives no further details, such as how many people took part, what specific demands they made or how the authorities responded.
