Sheet Music Book of Popular Latvian Songs and Schlager Published
A new sheet music book 'Latviešu populārākās ziņģes un šlāgeri' has been released, featuring 135 songs for communal singing.
Just in time for summer festivities, a new sheet music collection titled 'Latviešu populārākās ziņģes un šlāgeri' (Most Popular Latvian Folk Songs and Schlager) has been published. The book contains 135 well-loved songs ideal for singing together in any company.
The compilation was curated by Juris Vaivods, an experienced musician and sheet music researcher. It includes melodies by renowned Latvian composers such as Eduards Rozenštrauhs, Alberts Legzdiņš, and Ilmārs Dzenis, whose works are cherished by Latvian audiences.
Designed for music enthusiasts of all skill levels, the book aims to provide enjoyment and facilitate group singing at parties, gatherings, and other social occasions.
