Ballot numbers drawn for 15th Saeima elections

On Monday, July 6, a drawing of lots was held at the Saeima to determine the order of candidate lists on the ballot for the 15th Saeima elections, scheduled for October. All registered candidate lists participated in the drawing.
The first number—often seen as symbolically important—was awarded to the political alliance "Suverēnā vara/Jaunlatvieši". The last number, number 14, went to the party "Progresīvie". The remaining lists received their numbers according to the draw results.
