Despite a ceasefire with Hezbollah, Israel has continued its strikes in Lebanon. The Lebanese Civil Defense reported that 16 people were killed in Israeli attacks amid exchanges of fire with the Iran-backed group.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has given Belarus one week to remove relay stations that help Russia. He stated that if Alexander Lukashenko does not act, Ukraine will do so itself.

Members of the European Parliament have confirmed a compromise on air passenger rights reform. The text must be voted on in next month’s plenary session and will enter into force in the second half of 2027. The new rules cover baggage fees and compensation claims, coming into effect in 2027.
