According to information published by veteran leaker Evan Blass, the camera and battery specifications for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8, Z Fold 8, and Z Fold 8 Ultra have been revealed. Blass shared the details on his Substack newsletter.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 retains the same camera resolution as the Flip 7: a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP selfie camera. It is unclear whether the sensors and lenses have been improved. The battery capacity also remains unchanged at 4,300mAh. However, the device will be available in a new rose pink color.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a new, squarer design that differs from previous models. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with 2x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 10MP selfie camera. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and the battery supports up to 26 hours of video playback. It comes in a pastel purple color.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is a more traditional successor to the Fold line. It has a triple rear camera setup: a 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is 10MP. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh, providing up to 27 hours of video playback.

Samsung will officially unveil all new devices at its Unpacked event on July 22. For now, it appears that the biggest changes are in the Z Fold 8's design, while camera upgrades are mainly limited to the Z Fold 8 Ultra model. Many other specifications remain at the level of the previous generation.
