The exhibition 'Our Hands Meet, Please Stay' (mūsu rokas satiekas, lūdzu, paliec) will open on July 4 at 6 PM at the Zuzeum Siltumnīca in Riga, located at Lāčplēša Street 101. The show brings together two artists in a dialogue: Gints Virgilijs Tilks, who graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts in 2023, presents monumental spatial structures, while Jamieson Edson offers analog photographs. Together, they investigate the liminal states of intimacy, distance, and touch, revealing intimacy both as an act of closeness and a form of resistance.

Jamieson Edson, born in the United States, earned a BA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2015. Working primarily with analog photography, he creates emotionally charged portraits of close friends and strangers alike. His works have been exhibited in galleries and educational institutions across New England.

Gints Virgilijs Tilks worked as an assistant at the LOW gallery during his studies and co-founded the artist-run DOM gallery. After graduating, he moved to Boston, where he became active in the local art scene. In 2024, Tilks held his first solo exhibition in Salem, Massachusetts, and participated in several group shows in Boston. His practice combines sculptural elements, photography, and digital media, weaving narratives that merge physical and digital spaces.

The exhibition 'Our Hands Meet, Please Stay' will be on display at Zuzeum Siltumnīca.
