Extended Squads Announced for 11.lv Speedway World Cup Semi-Final 2
The extended squads for Latvia, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway have been officially announced for the upcoming 11.lv FIM Speedway World Cup semi-final in Riga.

The extended lineups for four nations – Latvia, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway – have been officially confirmed for the 11.lv FIM Speedway World Cup semi-final 2. The competition will take place on August 7 at the reconstructed speedway track in Biķernieki, Riga. Each team may reduce its squad to five riders – four starters and one reserve – six days before the event.
Latvia's team will be led by Andžejs Ļebedevs, who also serves as captain. The squad includes Daniils Kolodinskis, Jevgeņijs Kostigovs, Oļegs Mihailovs, Francis Gusts, Damirs Fiļimonovs, Ņikita Kauliņš, Artjoms Juhno, Emīls Rimicāns, and Dmitrijs Reuka. The team manager is Vladimirs Vagels.
Denmark's captain is Mihaels Jepsens Jensens, a 2012 World Cup winner alongside Leons Madsens. The roster also features Anderss Tomsens, Mikels Mikelsens, Frederiks Jakobsens, Madss Hansens, Bendžamins Basso, Villads Nagels, Mikels Andersens, and Rasmuss Jensens. Niki Pedersens is the team manager.
Sweden's captain is Fredriks Lindgrēns, who is expected to recover from injuries. The squad includes Kaspers Henriksons, Filips Hjelmlands, Džeikobs Torsels, Džonatans Ejnermarks, Kims Nilsons, Olivers Berntzons, Timo Lahti, Tomass H. Jonasons, and Viktors Palovaara. Team manager is Linuss Sundstrēms.
Norway's team is managed by Kenets Klipers Smits, with riders Matiass Pollestads (former SGP2 bronze medalist), Truls Kamhaugs (captain), Glens Moi, Lase Fredriksens, Magnuss Klipers, Jorgens Listads, and Imre Vīgre.
The winner of the Riga semi-final will secure the last spot in the final in Warsaw on August 29, where Poland, Australia, and Great Britain are already qualified. In addition to the team event, the DeWALT FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Latvia – Riga individual round will take place on August 8 at the same venue.
