After tense election period, MP Jānis Dombrava publicly thanks his wife for her support

Latvian politician Jānis Dombrava has publicly thanked his wife Ieva following the conclusion of the Saeima elections, highlighting the importance of family support during the tense pre-election period.

In a social media post, Dombrava noted that election periods demand not only significant work and energy from politicians themselves, but also patience and understanding from their families. He pointed out that the wider public typically only sees the public side of a politician's work, while much happens behind the scenes.

Dombrava wrote that while politicians' work is public, the support provided by loved ones often goes unseen. According to him, this kind of support provides the strength and energy needed to accomplish major tasks.

The politician noted that the latest demanding phase of political work has now come to an end. He publicly thanked his wife for her patience, strength and support during this period, adding that he now plans to focus on continuing work for the benefit of the nation.
