Jānis Dripe: A Man of Compromise with Extensive Experience in Architecture and Diplomacy

In a conversation with Latvijas Radio program "Laikmeta krustpunktā," architect Jānis Dripe stated that he has always been a man of compromise. He revealed details about a church he designed in Moscow, one of his most notable works abroad.

Dripe also recalled the moment when he showed Riga to the current King Charles III of the United Kingdom. He also spoke about a physical challenge – a 90-kilometer ski trip in Sweden, which was a significant personal achievement.

In the professional sphere, Dripe mentioned the Gaismas pils (Castle of Light) as well as concert halls in the regions, emphasizing their importance in Latvia's cultural landscape. He shared thoughts about moments worth living for, without delving into further specifics.
