Jānis Reišulis takes second in MX2 round's first race
Latvian motocross rider Jānis Reišulis finished second in the first race of the MX2 World Championship round on Sunday, only behind Spaniard Guillem Farres.

In the first MX2 race on Sunday, Jānis Reišulis put in a solid performance, finishing in second place. At the start, the Latvian was behind the leaders but quickly moved up to second and held that position to the finish. Winner Guillem Farres from Spain crossed the line five seconds ahead of Reišulis, while German Simon Langenfelder took third, three seconds behind the Latvian.
Kārlis Alberts Reišulis, Jānis' brother, also had a good race, finishing in the top ten. Overall championship leader Sacha Coenen of Belgium recovered from a poor start to finish sixth.
After the MX2 race, MXGP class riders took to the track, including Pauls Jonass. Later on Sunday, the second races for both classes will take place, with riders competing for top positions.
