No Significant Rain Expected for Midsummer, Forecasters Say

According to the latest forecast from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre, Līgo day (June 23) will be mostly dry without significant precipitation. However, during Jāņi night and day (June 23–24), there may be light rain in some parts of the country. Meteorologists emphasize that no heavy rainfall is expected, so the festive period should be relatively pleasant. Nevertheless, residents are advised to carry an umbrella if celebrating outdoors, as isolated showers are possible.
