Jaan Tallinn again tops list of Estonia's wealthiest people
Business newspaper Äripäev's latest ranking of Estonia's richest people places tech entrepreneur Jaan Tallinn first, with his fortune estimated at €10.3 billion. The top five remains unchanged from last year, though rankings within it shifted.
Estonian business newspaper Äripäev has published its annual ranking of the country's wealthiest people, with technology entrepreneur Jaan Tallinn once again taking first place. His fortune, tied to Metaplanet Holdings and Ambient Sound Investments, was estimated at €10.3 billion.
Top five unchanged
Compared with last year, no new names entered the top five, though their order shifted. Kristo Käärmann of Wise ranks second with €1.9 billion, followed by Taavet Hinrikus of Skaala Investments and Wise in third place with €1.5 billion. Markus Villig of Bolt takes fourth place with €961 million, while Margus Linnamäe of MM Grupp rounds out the top five with €687 million.
Rest of the top ten
Following the leading five are Raul Kirjanen with €559 million, Oleg Osinovski with €551 million, Anders Anderson with €497 million, Oliver Leisalu with €461 million, and Fjodor Berman with €395 million.
Overall wealth growth
The broader TOP 500 ranking also showed strong growth — the combined fortune of Estonia's 500 wealthiest people rose by a third over the year, reaching €41 billion.
