Midsummer Celebrations in Riga: Three Parks from June 23 to 24

The Riga City Council invites residents and guests to celebrate Jāņi (Midsummer) in three parks – Grīziņkalns, Dzegužkalns, and Mežaparks' Green Theatre – from the evening of June 23 until early morning of June 24.

From June 23 at 8:00 PM to June 24 at 4:30 AM, Riga's Midsummer festivities will take place in three locations: Grīziņkalns Park, Dzegužkalns, and the Green Theatre in Mežaparks. The celebrations include dancing, singing traditional līgotnes (Midsummer songs), and waking the sun. The municipality encourages everyone to join the traditional atmosphere at these venues.
