New Working Week in Latvia Begins with Rain and Wind
Rain and strengthened winds are expected in Latvia overnight into Monday and during the day, with gusts reaching up to 19 metres per second on the coast. Daytime temperatures will be between +9 and +12 degrees.

The new working week in Latvia will start with cloud, precipitation and strengthened winds. The forecast covers the night leading into Monday and Monday itself, and applies to the capital Riga as well as the rest of the country.
Overnight
In Riga the night will be cloudy, and rain will begin in its second half. A moderate south-easterly and southerly wind will blow, with gusts of up to 15 metres per second. The air will cool to +8…+10 degrees.
Monday across the country
During the day clouds will cover the sky, and the sun will break through only in places. A precipitation zone will cross Latvia from the west, so rain is expected in almost the whole country. The wind will be moderate to fairly strong, blowing from the south and south-west. It will be strongest on the sea coast, where gusts will reach 15–19 metres per second. The maximum daytime air temperature will range from +9 to +12 degrees.
In Riga
In the capital the air will warm up to +11 degrees during the day. It will be cloudy, with the sky clearing at times. Rain is also expected from time to time, and wind gusts will reach up to 11 metres per second, which is weaker than on the coast.
People heading to work or school on Monday can expect damp and windy weather, especially near the sea, where the wind will be strongest.
