New Man Utd boss Olid vows 'brave', attacking football

Olid joined United from Scottish club Hearts, succeeding Marc Skinner, who stepped down as manager earlier this summer. The managerial change, combined with a transfer window that fell short of many fans' expectations, has fuelled doubts about whether United can compete for a top-three finish this season.
Responding to doubters
Addressing those who have written the club off, Olid said such scepticism is normal, while also noting she has felt considerable support. She pointed out that people who followed her recent years at Hearts know she achieved what once seemed impossible, and said she believes similar results can be achieved at United, though not within just a few weeks.
Focus on attacking play
Olid explained that her main ambition is attacking football, with game plans built around exploiting opponents' weaknesses. She acknowledged that the team's style of play will differ from last season and that shifting to the new approach is not straightforward, which is why some planned changes have been set aside for the opening match. She stressed that the club wants attractive, brave football despite the risks involved, and that the club's leadership supports this approach, noting it was the very reason she was hired.
