About the podcast

"Pamatlaiks" is part of the "Sporta Tauta" lineup, which features interviews with representatives from various sports fields. The show's format favors longer, in-depth conversations about a guest's career and experience rather than brief news roundups.

The episode is available to listen to on the sportacentrs.com website, in its "Klausītava" (Listening Room) section, where new "Sporta Tauta" audio content is regularly published. As with previous episodes, attention is given not only to sporting achievements but also to personal experience.

Specific details about Ābols' particular achievements, periods of work, or other specifics are not provided in the episode description — they are revealed in the conversation itself, which listeners can hear in full.
