New Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Already Selling at Half Price
Amazon and US electronics retailer Best Buy are selling the latest Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device for $29.99, half its regular price. The device no longer needs a separate power connection.

Amazon and US electronics retailer Best Buy are selling the newest Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device at 50 percent off, with a price of $29.99. That is the lowest price recorded for the model, even though it was announced only a few weeks ago, according to the tech site The Verge on 22 October 2026.
The Fire TV Stick 4K is a small device that plugs into a television and lets people watch streaming services in high resolution.
What is new
The main change is that the device no longer needs a separate power connection. It draws the energy it requires from the TV's USB port. It supports 4K at up to 60 frames per second and HDR10 Plus, which provides higher contrast. Unlike some older models, it does not allow side-loading, meaning the installation of apps from outside the official store.
Earlier this year Amazon updated the Fire TV operating system with a redesigned interface, closer integration of its Alexa Plus voice assistant and various improvements to the mobile app. All of these are supported on the new hardware.
Redesigned remote
The package includes a revamped remote with an asymmetrical shape and a rounded bottom. Its buttons have a more tactile feel. For connectivity, the device uses Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6.
