Latvia's Central Election Commission (CVK) has compiled voting results from 1,057 of the country's 1,059 polling stations, and the data indicate that the proportion of women among the newly elected members of the Saeima will likely be slightly higher than in the outgoing parliament.

Final, precise figures on the gender breakdown of the new parliament will become available once data from all polling stations has been fully tallied and the election results are officially confirmed.

Count nearing completion

With only a small number of polling stations left to report, no major shift in the overall picture of the new parliament's composition is expected. The CVK continues its work to ensure a complete and accurate compilation of the election results.
