Latest GTA 6 leak exposes major story spoilers
A 25-minute gameplay video of Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced online, packed with story spoilers. The game is due out on November 19.
The largest leak yet of Grand Theft Auto VI has appeared online, according to a Kotaku report. The footage was released by Cyberleek, the unknown person or group behind the earlier leaked material. This time it is a 25-minute recording of the game in action.
Spoilers and ads
The video is full of story spoilers, and it also carries promotion for the leaker's own memecoin. Anyone who wants to approach the game knowing nothing about its plot is advised to skip it. Since the clip will likely spread across social media soon, users should be careful over the next few days about what they open.
What the footage shows
The Engadget writer who watched the video mentions one detail that can be discussed: co-protagonist Jason appears fully nude. That seems to suggest the game is entirely playable in that state. However, it is quite plausible that all of Cyberleek's footage comes from an earlier build, so it is unclear what Rockstar has planned for the final release.
The company's legal team has reportedly been busy taking down leaked clips, and its efforts are likely to intensify now that story spoilers are circulating.
Release and format
GTA 6 launches on November 19, just over a month away. More than 13 years have passed since GTA 5 reached store shelves. Physical copies will not contain discs; they will be a "code in a box" product.
