New quiz challenges readers to read upside-down words

Latvian entertainment portal La.lv has released a new online test inviting readers to check their perception by reading words that are printed upside down. Participants are instructed to sit up straight and, importantly, not rotate their phone or computer screen — the words must be read exactly as displayed.

The quiz consists of ten questions, presented as slides. The first example shown features the words "zods" (chin) and "zobs" (tooth), which look similar to one another when flipped upside down.

According to the portal, readers who manage to get through the test without stumbling can consider their mind sharp and in good shape for now. The quiz is presented purely as light entertainment content rather than a scientific assessment of cognitive ability.

Alongside the test, the page also lists other currently popular articles on the portal, covering topics such as the most dangerous cars on the road, zodiac sign traits, and the cost of train tickets for families — though these items are unrelated to the content of the quiz itself.
