Jay-Z to perform at Super Bowl half-time show

American rapper Jay-Z will perform at the Super Bowl half-time show. He has been involved with the show for years but has never before performed at the NFL championship game.

American rapper and businessman Jay-Z is set to perform at the Super Bowl half-time show. The Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the US professional American football league, and its interval traditionally features a large-scale musical performance.

According to the BBC, Jay-Z has been involved with the show for years, but he has never before performed on stage at the NFL title game himself. His appearance will therefore be his first as a performer at the event.

The source does not give further details, such as the date, the venue or any other performers.
